Malaria - Causes, Symptoms And Prevention

Malaria is caused by a transfusion carried out by female mosquitoes which are infected by parasitic, it's a prevalent disease in Africa, it subsists in another continent as well, which are South and Central American and Asia, but the rate of infected people in African is higher than any other continent in the world. The disease is caused by a bite of the mosquito which is female mosquitoes precisely. Malaria is authentically dangerous especially for little kids and sickle cell patients and the disease can be averted.



Causes OF Malaria


Blood Transfusion: This is the main cause of malaria, the blood transfusion from another affected patient to non-affected patient and it's carried out by female mosquitoes which are affected by the malaria parasite.

  • High temperature
  • Excessive headache
  • Muscular pain
  • Coughing And Sneezing
  • Vomiting

Prevention Of Malaria


Insecticide Treated Net: Sleeping under treated insecticide net with permethrin authentically prevent the mosquitoes from biting the body and this is mostly recommended by the health practitioner and it's compulsory to use it for our babies cos as you know that mosquitoes are more dangerous to the small kids than the adults.

Cleaning The Environment: Mosquitoes are more attracted to a dirty environment especially where there are unwanted grasses and stagnant water, we should always take good care of our home and it's surrounding, by sweeping, make a way for water to flow so there won't be any stagnant water in our surrounding and we should always dispose our trash can.

Insecticide: Using insecticide is highly recommended and it makes a good impact in preventing from mosquitoes bite. Spray your room when you're not at home and that most especially works if the insecticide is more powerful and quality.

Sharp Objects: Since malaria can be contaminated through blood transfusion and sharp objects are more vulnerable to that. Don't share any kind of sharp objects you might be using with anyone e.g office pin, razor blade, e.t.c

Insect Repellent: Using of insect repellent that contains diethyltoluamide and most of them are in form of cream, its very useful and it can prevent mosquitoes from biting the body, this can be used at night when going to bed. There is a various Insect repellent in the market, you can ask from nearby stores.

Visit Your Doctor: Consult your doctor when you have noticed one of the symptoms of malaria and it's best option to do so cos your doctor will rather prescribe some medicines for you or treat you in another way i.e injection that contains chloroquine which can prevent it for a long period of time or get rid of it. Malaria is a dangerous disease and it's highly recommended to consult our doctor when we notice the symptoms cos it got deeper in our body and it can lead to a serious sickness.
