Symptoms And Prevention Of Itching

Itching which is also known as pruritus is an act of irritation and uncomfortable feeling on the skin that makes you want to scratch. Everyone knows the inconvenience caused by an itching usually responds by scratching. Often the act of scratching is very calm tingling temporarily and may even make it worse. In some cases, itching is accompanied by a rash, redness and swelling. Severe itching may be accompanied by excoriations which may become an infected disease.



Itching is caused by the release in the superficial layer of the skin to certain substances that it manufactures, such as histamine. The origins itching are extremely diverse. Types Of Itching

Prevention Of Itching
  • Keeping your skin moist, using a skin moisturizer suitable for your skin. Choose a best skin moisturizer that suits your body type. Apply a daily moisturizer all over the body, insisting on the infected areas, such as: face, legs, hands, feet, elbows, knees, lower back, etc.
