A study showed that nearly 50% of all women experience decreased of sexual desire and even men experienced such thing too. In other words, it's not a factor of passionate. Starting from the age factor to psychological conditions are often blamed as the main cause of decreased in sexual desire. Nevertheless, there are actually some common triggers that cause arousal in women and men.
If your partner is having problems of decreased in sexual arousal, both of you as couples must understand and know what are the causes of decreased sexual desire experienced by your partner, so as not to be a protracted problem and both of you can solve it together without developing any conflict in the relationship.
- Sleep Deprivation. Do not underestimate the problem of lack of sleep or when you are doing so many jobs that reduced sleep time. Lack of sleep can cause a reduction of sexual desire. If you just sleep less than 6hrs per day, the amount of testosterone which usually (triggers sexual arousal) will decrease.
- Depression. Depression can make you grumpy and foggy, even affect your sex life, health and your beauty. It can also make you feel less decreased from sexual arousal.
- Snore. If your partner snores, then this can lead to be decreased of sexual desire. Sleeping with a partner who snores is not only annoying and disturbance from sleeping beside such a person. Snoring person also experiences weight gain and disrupt sexual life that is not good for sex desire.
- After Childbirth. On delivery (normal) stage nerves and muscles will stretch and can even hurt because of the pressure. This then can lead to sensitivity to the vital organs. Not only that, when estrogen levels keep feeding lubricant secretion in female sex organs will also be reduced. This condition can cause pain during penetration. In addition to the use of contraceptives or the selection may not be suitable also have a role in the decline in female sexual arousal.
- Stress & Pressure. We need a quiet atmosphere with a relaxed mind if we want to enjoy intimacy with our partner. So if we are under pressure from work, family issues and so on, then this will reduce sexual desire in us. Stress or depression can be a cause of decreased of sexual arousal. Even a tiny stress value could result in a significant decline in sexual function. Stress in the workplace is sometimes brought up onto the bed. To be able to control this condition, good stress management is necessary for everyone. Stress will definitely happen, but with good stress management, it will not cause a decrease in sexual function.
- Consumption Of Alcohol. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking can also cause the same problem. Therefore, choose activities that are more beneficial to health. Sports or gym not only make the body more slender, but also improve the quality of intimate relationship with your partner. Though, Alcohol in small amounts might increase sexual response, but the use of alcohol in large quantities or long-term can lead to the decreased of sexual arousal.
