  • Clove Oil. Oil of cloves, popularly also known as clove oil. It's an essential oil from the clove plant. Clove oil is also proven to relieve a variety of pain due to dental problems, including swollen gums. To use it, apply a very small amount to a cotton swab or piece of tissue and apply gently to the affected area. Use it 2-3 Times a day after meals, and your gums should be completely healed after the process because clove oil works great for dental problems. 
  • Note: Clove oil is not for everyone. Always read the instruction properly before making a use of it because It has a strong and sometimes unpleasant taste, and if large quantities are accidentally ingested, it can lead to a side effect. But it was widely used primarily in dentistry for its main ingredient eugenol.
  • Massage The Gums. Another way to relieve inflammation of the gums is by massaging the gums using cotton buds. Massage the affected area at least 5 minutes every day to improve blood flow to the gums. In addition to cotton buds, massage can also be done with the index finger. But of course make sure that your finger is completely clean so that no other bacteria can attach to infected gums.

  • Consumption Of Vitamin C. Swollen gums can be caused by lack of vitamin C, folic acid, or iron. Take a multivitamin food containing essential vitamins and minerals needed by the body. So multiply the foods containing vitamin C as a precaution in order to secure the gums from swelling.
  • Flossing Teeth. Use dental floss to clean up leftover food from between the teeth. Food scraps that are not cleaned can lead to gingivitis or gum disease that causes swelling and bleeding in the gums.
